Overview

You will be the technical owner of AFC applications called Smaragd and Mantas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance of current application infrastructure and also take lead in development activities. You will also be part of production support (L3) activities partnering with RTB team.

Your Role

What You’ll Do:

  • You will be responsible for overall health and effectiveness of AFC applications
  • You will work closely with associated teams such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Release Management and Production support
  • You will interact with application stakeholders by providing application status, schedule hotfixes, and respond to business users’ queries
  • You will provide guidance and support to developers and junior team members

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Experience in financial industry technical support team
  • Expert level proficiency in Oracle, Unix, Control M, Java and AML typologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science

Skills That Will Help You Excel:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • This is a senior technologist position which demands mature and calm demeanor
  • You will need to be self-starter and self-motivated
  • You should be able to work with very little supervision and guidance
