We are looking for a Commercial Business Director with demonstrated experience closing major accounts, managing the accounts and managing a team, to lead our commercial strategy. Bolt provides vehicles on flexible subscriptions which include vehicle servicing. The Role:
Bolt Bikes is a new business and we are looking for a highly adaptable candidate who can think big one moment, but be willing to get their hands dirty the next. The position will require you to develop and drive new initiatives and manage our most important external stakeholders. As the Commercial Business Director, you will report to the CEO and lead the organisation through the commercial landscape in all our markets globally. Your tasks will include:
- Managing relationships with delivery platform partners e.g. Uber Eats, DoorDash and Postmates globally
- Own and drive procurement initiatives with major Restaurant chains who do their own delivery
- Explore potential relationships with logistics companies e.g., Amazon, UPS, FedEx
- Prepare detailed analysis and advice on current and best practices to support commercial strategic decision
- Establish strong and constructive relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
Requirements
- Demonstrated project management, negotiation, market research and marketing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to eloquently convey complex ideas and a practical numbers-oriented mind
- Experience working in a startup and/or fast paced environment a big plus
- Experience working in fleet sales, logistics or food delivery a plus
- Can do attitude with a high level of initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised, excellent time management and the ability to multitask
