We are an established operator of senior living communities throughout the Southeast and Texas. The team is led by seasoned industry professionals with deep expertise in the senior housing industry.
The team works closely with their partner, a real estate private equity company that is currently investing out of their fourth discretionary fund and plans to purchase between $200 and $300 MM of senior housing properties over the next several years.
Position: VP of Strategy
We are seeking a full-time professional to join their St. Petersburg, FL team. The professional will be an integral part of a growing company with responsibilities stretching across all facets of corporate strategy and operations. The position will report directly to the CEO and work collaboratively with ownership, property level staff, and all stakeholders at the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, oversight and execution of corporate level strategy and property level business plans including lease-ups, capital projects, and business development
- Spearhead the continued development of a sales and marketing strategy in conjunction with the CEO and VP of Marketing
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to identify financial variances and opportunities to increase P&L
- Participate in various HR functions including the recruitment process for corporate and property level staff
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior work experience (no senior housing experience necessary)
- Proven track record of outstanding performance in a complex work environment
- Strict attention to detail, strong work ethic, and integrity
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and a demonstrated adaptability to understand industry specific operating systems
- Ability to work autonomously, problem solve, multi-task and thrive in an entrepreneurial setting
- Highly organized, systematic and proactive
- Curious and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
