EVO is looking for an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain that can organize and analyze our various operations and needs into a comprehensive culture for our company. We offer a Competitive Base Salary, Bonus opportunities, Employee Stock Option Plan, and excellent benefits.
Major objectives:
- Identify, review, and conduct a comprehensive spend analysis on all current vendors, products, and services. Recommend negotiated pricing on contracts with key suppliers and finalize comprehensive recommendations that will decrease overall company spend by an agreed upon percentage in year one. (ex. Fuel, Tires, Trailers, Vehicles Parts)
- Create new Supply Chain department from the ground floor. This will include the following:
- latest best practices
- processes
- procedures
- enterprise wide systems/technology that all key stakeholders can utilize and increase productivity and gain efficiencies.
- Create a comprehensive accountability process that clearly outlines all key stake holder roles, responsibilities and SLAs wherever needed.
- Ensure accountability for all purchasing authority, departmental expectations and excellence of execution.
- Build critical relationship with key stakeholders in all divisions and locations and build a working document that captures all KPIs, purchasing processes, procedures and strategies.
- Evaluate products and services and provide detailed cost analysis and recommendations to ensure further cost reductions and impact maintenance and wear on vehicles, trailers and parts.
- Identify and evaluate all systems and technology needs and execute a complete formal evaluation, RFP, procurement, recommendation and implementation of all enterprise wide systems needed to build a fully functional, scalable and effective supply chain model that meets the needs of all key stakeholders as per the requirements
- Conduct analysis with all key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of all market trends with regards to vehicle purchasing and put together a comprehensive strategy on purchasing vs. leasing. Continually evaluate the used truck market to determine the best way to dispose of used vehicles to maximize ROI.
This position is located in Phoenix, AZ. Relocation is available.
