About this role

We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Associate excited to support the Global Fixed Income (GFI) Executive Function. The role will report to the COO of Global Fixed Income and will also support the Chief of Staff for GFI and Multi-Asset Strategies (MAS). The ideal candidate must deeply understand the strategic initiatives and provide strategic and day-to-day operational support – including internal / external content development, research and project management. Given the broad range of queries and initiatives, the person in this role may also work closely with many members of the various GFI investment teams, distribution channels and other corporate functions such as FP&A, Human Resources, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, RQA etc.


Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Initiatives:

    • Support special projects initiated by the COO and/or Chief of Staff in areas including tracking overall progress against stated objectives, internal communications, organizational strategy and execution, and business and product innovation
    • Model profitability forecasts for future product and business initiatives
  • Management Governance

    • Assist in creation of agenda and presentation materials for town halls, off sites and other internal communications to the platform
    • Plan and prepare presentations, talking points, and briefing memos for internal and external conferences/meetings
  • Content Creation

    • Work with the Global COO and Investment Team COOs to create content and materials to support various GFI initiatives
    • Communicate results and business drivers through concise business commentaries


Experience/Qualifications/Personal qualities:

  • 2+ years of relevant investment industry experience, preferably with emphasis in strategy, consulting, technology, client service, finance, relationship management or business management
  • You will have four-year degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Information Technology, Economics, or related field
  • Strong proficiency and demonstrated experience working in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exemplary communication (verbal and written); a writing sample will be requested
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creatively
  • Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and partner at all seniority levels and regions.
  • High degree of professional discretion, integrity and discernment
  • An ambitious spirit that is willing to pursue additional responsibility quickly
  • Attention to detail and proofing skills are critical
  • Prior experience working with senior management is a plus
