Our Supply Chain Management organization is hiring a Subcontract Manager.
Must have a thorough understanding of acquisition principles, theories, concepts, regulations, and experience demonstrating a broad application of those practices, techniques, and standards.The candidate will manage a portfolio of subcontracts.
The candidate must be customer focused and possess the ability to develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex problems; have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to accurately report findings and subcontract status to a variety of audiences; and have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and guide cross functional teams, customers and other external partners.
Specific knowledge of subcontract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, as well as other innovative contract types.Must have strong experience analyzing complex terms and conditions.Must be well versed in FAR and DFAR regulations and have a strong background in project management.Individual must have strong experience in writing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
In addition this individual will manage projects designed to improve organizational efficiency, motivate and improve professional skills required in our business environment.The position will be expected to use a defined set of metrics to measure employee performance to ensure accountability and facilitate problem resolution.
