You are:
You are responsible to provideday-to-day operational leadership for the Reading Presort Services branch, oneof the highest volume and largest presort branches in the company. The OMensures the overall success of a two building, three shift, 200,000 square footproduction environment, ensuring that the center has the proper operationalcontrols, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in placeto effectively operate as a productive,safe, and positive workplace. You will be responsible for the overallmanagement, planning, organization, and execution of all day-to-day presortingoperations and floor-level support functions within the two facilities.
You will:
- Be accountable for themanagement of all operations functional groups through subordinate managers andsupervisors, and for the selection, performance management, and professionaldevelopment of subordinates
- Maintain existingfacilities and equipment optimization through a group of technicians;recommends replacements and/or adjustments to facilities and equipment andassists in capital planning when necessary.
- Seek ways to improveservice delivery. Assesses the operationand its services from the clientâs point of view. Uses customer feedback to drive service andquality enhancements. Emphasizes a team approach to providing great customerservice.
- Take personalresponsibility for quality. Maintain theoperation in an âaudit readyâ condition at all times
- Foster and support anopen, transparent, highly responsive, success-oriented culturebuilt on accountability, respect for people, and the highest standards ofintegrity and ethical performance.
- Buildrespect and credibility with stakeholders across the company

- 5-8 years in production, warehousing, and/or logistics management experience.
- 3-5 years general supervisory/management experience

Our Presort Services network provides mailerswith end-to-end solutions from pick up at their location to delivery into thepostal system. Through our network of 33+ U.S. locations, and with our fullycustomized proprietary technology, we process approximately 15 billion piecesof mail annually and are able to expedite delivery and optimize postage savingsfor our clients.
