Job Summary
Manage CMSU national billings services department. Responsible for all billings services to include: provision of site planning layouts, technical consulting services to internal/external customers, procurement and delivery of equipment, management of corporate inventory, and leadership of the field operation team towards on-schedule delivery of billings to forecast. Drive improvements to productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team with its processes, capabilities, and partnerships (including CMSC). Own development and qualification of a national network of internal and external subcontract supplier agreements to ensure CMSU can provide customers with end to end installation service. Provide installation and support for trade show events and company facilities. Manage all aspects of the trade in process for CMSU.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide national leadership and management support, for planning, site readiness and delivery of all Canon CT, MR, VL, XR, and UL product lines. The national contact for product issues that impact the installation of equipment. Improve processes and provide solutions to activities related to the planning and installation of Canon products.
- Leads revenue forecasting and achievement, book and bill and backlog management for Canon Medical Systems USA. Will lead and manage the principle functional groups associated with the National Billings organization. Will manage the Field Operations function to ensure site readiness forecasts are timely and accurate. Ensure schedules are maintained while delivering total customer satisfaction with our products and services.
- Directs the Site Planning function for provision of design concepts and site specific planning layouts to support CMSU order acquisition and billings process. Provide technical consulting services to internal/external customers regarding equipment functionalities, room preparations and installations that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Develop time lines, action plans, assign and provide appropriate staff for required and special tasks; monitor group efficiency, productivity and effectiveness and identify programs to improve and implement improvements. Manage all administrative functions, including the development and management of annual capital budget; manage all department expenses and process.
- Provide required leadership to develop and institute management tools, indicators, processes, procedures and training for the Installation Project Managers (IPM) to ensure consistency while sharing best practices regarding site readiness, planning of Canon equipment to keep installation cost associated with site construction and equipment installation at a minimum while improving customer satisfaction.
- Lead Logistics Management, Field Service Management and where applicable CMSC (Nasu) to coordinate equipment shipment, preparation, project management support.
- Lead procurement process and manage corporate level inventory and all supporting processes including physical inventory.
- Manage purchasing forecast and PSI process with appropriate business units, generate PFA/PSI documents.
- Oversee warehouse logistics supervisor to ensure delivery of product; measure actual outbound freight expense to budgeted levels and initiate corrective action as needed; oversee freight rate/contract negotiations with vendors; resolve delivery issues with vendors as needed.

- Lead all aspects of the trade in process including but not limited to: qualification of brokers, de-installation of trade in equipment and all supporting processes, documentation and communication of trade in information to IPMs, and ownership of revenue forecast.
- Partner with Logistics Management, Field Service Management and where applicable CMSC (Nasu) to coordinate equipment shipment, preparation, project management support.
- As necessary, work with Legal and Finance to establish a National Network of approved installation subcontractors, ensuring comprehensive supply agreements are in place.
- Work directly with CMSU Marketing, Business Units and Sales to participate in on site and corporate customer sales presentations to existing and perspective Canon customers to present and demonstrate installation solutions to meet customer requirements. Support and reinforce the sales process.
- Work directly with CMSU Marketing, Business Units, Sales logistics, Tustin Warehouse, Field Service Organization and CMSC (Nasu) to coordinate trade show equipment shipment, preparation, engineer support and provide Service Management for CMSU trade shows.
- Provide performance management reporting covering all aspects of installation billing financial and scheduled forecasting, book and bill and backlog conversion performance.
Position Requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA Preferred.
- 15 years minimum experience in medical products and installation, preferably on a national scope.
- 5-7 years leadership experience.
- Technical expertise in planning, siting and equipment specifications of all CMSU modalities or similar vendor supplied products
- Excellent communication both written and verbal and leadership and problem solving skills.
- Business and Analytical skills to oversee financial and administrative areas including Business Operations, planning, budgeting and sales support.
- Proven experience developing, leading and working in cross functional/multi-national teams.
