In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of projects. You will lead the project(s) from beginning to end, from initial proposal through completion, to provide our clients with innovative high quality solutions focused on their business needs. You will build and manage the project team, schedule assignments, monitor and review deliverables of project teams and ensure successful delivery and implementation. Qualifications
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 8+ of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
- At least 5 years of experience with IBM iSeries AS/400, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/SQL, Editors, Build and Deploy tools etc.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, support and translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
- Experience in financial reporting and processes such as stock ledger, general ledger, AP, AR etc
- Experience in Retail Industry is a plus with knowledge about various interfaces to/from core Supply Chain applications
- Ability to translate business stories into technical design and document work in technical stories
- Experience and understanding of Production support and performance engineering
- Desire to learn newer technologies as PHP, Java, Kotlin, Postgres etc.
- Technical and Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work in Team environment and client interfacing skills.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, and is willing to experiment and try anything to find solutions.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
