We are currently hiring an Employment Services Senior Director to join our team. In this position, you will oversee the daily operations of all employment services continuously increasing our clients’ opportunities at competitive, integrated employment. You will oversee 500+ employees and ~$16 Million budget.
Who you are:
- An experienced manager with contracting experience who is able to manage multiple lines of business
- A cultivator of positive relationships; with the ability to increase effective relations with regional businesses
- An inspirational leader with a passion for providing meaningful days for staff and individuals receiving services
A typical day will include:
- Overseeing employment programs for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Creating, implementing and expanding employment contracts
- Developing and managing program budgets
- Managing experienced, independent staff throughout San Diego County with a total of 7 direct reports
- Engaging community partners and expanding awareness on programs
What you’ll need to be successful:
- B.A. or B.S. with applicable coursework in business management
- Experience in government contracting procedures; proven success in bidding and obtaining approvals
- Supervisory experience and value alignment with our One Team approach
We’d love it if you:
- Have experience in referral and funding procedures with the DoR and SDRC
- Have AbilityOne experience
