CEIs client in Centennial is looking for a Scrum Master for Application Development projects.
*The expected duration is 12 MOS with the potential of converting to a permanent role, and the starting pay is $60.00 / HR + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k)
Responsibilities:
- Encourage creativity, organization, and improvement of Agile Software Development Practices
- Lead and facilitate weekly sprint and daily SCRUM meetings
- Create, Manage, and update detailed project plans
- Manage App Development projects using JIRA or similar tracking tools
- Develop thorough knowledge of products through research and discovery
- Write, clarify, validate prioritize and discuss user stories to be used in the design and development of technical solutions
- Preform User Acceptance Testing to determine project status, velocity, and backlogs
- Assists the Product Owner with maintaining the product backlog, backlog refinement and makes recommendations regarding the prioritization of requirements
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in an Agile Software Development Environment
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Ability to tailor Agile methodologies as appropriate to meet business and technology needs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with other teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Typically requires 3-5 years of experience
