The E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Director will be overseeing the team of Account Managers and work directly with marketing teams of all e-commerce channels like Amazon.com, Lowes.com, Menards, Build, Homedepot.com, etc. This person will analyze the market and conduct in-depth data analytics to find insights that will drive sales to VIGO product. This individual will create sales and monthly profitability reports for each partner and work on marketing and sales calendars. Identify and analyse new key customer specific opportunity for profitable growth, work with creative team to provide unique content, mentor the team and create the marketing strategy for releasing new products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining item pricing for both divisions based on market pricing intelligence, analysis of seasonality of sales, and identification of in-season sales performance trends
- Build and maintain the merchandise associated with the promotional calendars
- Analyze sales, gross margin, and conversion rates to determine business opportunities and provide recommendations to maximize growth and profitability
- Create, Manage and review merchandise presentation on the company websites to ensure the categorization, imagery, color, copy, pricing, and promotional tags are accurate and meet internal guidelines
- Utilize product catalog web application to build online category and product groupings
- Define and develop annual customer specific marketing plans and creative briefs that are in line with category
- Review competitor website and customer survey feedback to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions and keeping site current on trends
- Working with different departments such as the Data, Creative and IT
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Marketing or Related MBA
- Minimum: 3-6 years in B2C or B2B E-Commerce Environment
- 3+ years of visual merchandising, inventory planning and buying experience
- 5+ years combined experience in e-commerce, retail, catalog, merchandising and marketing
- Proficient PC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other system programs
- Travel 25%-50%
