Position Summary:
Serves as the Distribution Market Leader at domicile distribution center. Direct leader of DMLs at other sites in the region and responsible for all aspects of service, operational and cost performance for distribution services in the region. Regional administration leaders also report to the RDDS role. Distribution Services Leader on Regional SVP / GM Leadership team. Ensures Distribution Logistics, warehouse & delivery, administrative processes and Inventory Management are operationally excellent at all sites in the region. Drives continuous improvement initiatives in the region including collaboration with peers across North America. Ensures regional compliance with all IFS, DOT, OSHA and FDA standards. Directs and leads all budgeting and cost control efforts within the region and ensures that all financial KPIs are met or exceeded. Ensures that standard and consistent processes are in place to enable customer experience excellence. Ensure team member engagement and stable permanent labor performance in the region. Engaged in the communities served.

Position Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of the Supply Chain & Distribution Leadership Team.

Accountable for creating an internal environment “where people feel valued” and ensure that all Team Member have a clean, safe & healthy environment. Sets team members up for success.

Drives improvement in the business and contributes to the overall goals and leadership of Dawn.

Key thought leader contributing to Dawn’s operations planning process. Participates in the development and execution of Logistics (Warehouse & Deliver) strategy, which is consistent with don’s overall goals and objectives.

Ensures that logistics (Warehouse & Delivery) complies and meets all legal, ethical, and community standards. Demonstrates ‘Dawn Values.”

Acts as an ambassador for the company within the industry and the community.

Highly skilled in navigating and supporting a matrix organization. Ability to influence and engage at all levels.

Implements leading-edge Logistics (Warehouse & Delivery) principles with a focus on continuous improvement.

Emphasis on-demand fulfillment process changes to drive improvements in service to our customers.

Coordinates Logistics (Warehouse & Delivery) functions to reduce operating costs. Outstanding problem solver.

Strong financial am budgeting acumen with the ability to analyze results and convert insights into actions.

Ensure all Team Members and appropriate management participate and are accountable for Safety Programs.

Significant travel period

Specialist Areas of Experience Preferred:
At least 15 years of relevant experience.

At least 7 years’ experience in a Senior Leadership role in Logistics/Warehouse or Supply Chain Management.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the food industry.

Direct experience in Logistics/Warehouse planning an execution – private fleet experience desired.

Experience in a multi-state leadership role in an industrial environment for at least 5 years.

Proven success in a Team environment and leadership in change management.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
