The Program Manager to the office of the CEO, provides executive-level program management and strategic support to the CEO. He/She assists the Executive leader by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise and leads teams or initiatives to solve complex business problems that are key priorities for the Executive leader and Executive Management Team. Demonstrates analytical and organization skills, in addition to strong business judgment and the communication skills needed to interact with a variety of internal and external customers.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Executive leader. Craft Executive’s strategic priorities by identifying areas of risk and gaps.
- Advise cross-functional teams, executives and Board on issues related to organization operations and strategy. May lead problem solving efforts including defining project approach, supervising cross-functional teams and managing day to day interactions with sponsor executives and stakeholders.
- Develop thoughtful and rigorous analysis and recommendations; synthesize insights and maintain a “nose for value” by identifying opportunities for further optimization and improvement within the Business through extensive research, benchmarking, and data mining.
- Develop and deliver high-quality recommendations and deliverables for executive level consumption and actively contribute to associated strategy and execution discussions. These include presentations developed on behalf of the Executive leader.
- Create and update dashboards identifying key performance indicators.
- Assume day to day responsibilities for projects and tasks.
- Manage Executive leader’s meeting preparation and follow-up including: review of upcoming meetings each week to ensure the leader has all relevant information necessary for optimum productivity, development of agendas, ensure preparation for meeting attendees, lead meetings as appropriate.
- Craft and manage distribution lists and teams alongside or independently of the Executive leader.
- Assist with budget management, analysis and reporting; review with Executive leader and internal financial team(s).
- Ensure compliance of the company’s operational policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly work environment.
- Works with Executive Assistant to ensure:
- Calendar management: Support for C-level executive and teams as appropriate.
- General team support.
- Expense reporting delegate for Executive and teams.
- New hire setup and onboarding activities.
- Secure goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, facilities requests, manage team space.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Training and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role or equivalent
- Innovative thinker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency to situations and events.
- Experience in building trusting relationships and leading through influence in an advisory capacity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive and personal information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrates “one team” mindset.
- High level of interpersonal, written and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Database reporting and dashboard development experience
