Production Control Manager

Primary Role in the Organization:

First contact for all service customers. Coordinates customer orders with production departments to ensure on-time delivery. Ensures that Neaton receives highest possible scores in all customer evaluations.

Reports To:

Plant Manager

Supervises:

Supervisor, coordinators, hourly associates

Responsibilities:

1.) Develop departmental objectives in support of president/plant manager objectives

2.) Establish departmental budgets

3.) Review new model programs to ensure no customer issues at start-up

4.) Production plan

5.) Capacity Evaluation

6.) Inventory accuracy

7.) Control Inventory levels

8.) Maintain departments controlled documents and master list

9.) Physical Inventory

10.) Promote and participate in continuous improvement activities (i.e.; NISS, 6S, SQCD, etc.)

11.) Support all NAPM certifications (i.e.; J-Sox, TS, ISO, etc.)

12.) NRI & NIPSA support

13.) Maintain conformance with all company policies

14.) Provide support for associate concerns

15.) Support/follow ISO 14001 Procedures

16.) Other duties as requested

Qualifications:

A. Experience

1.) 3-5 years comparable work experience

2.) JDE-experience preferred

3.) PC-literate with Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)

4.) Knowledge of manufacturing environment

5.) Supervisory experience

B. Education

1.) B.A. In Business, Production Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, or comparable work experience

Requirements:

A. Physical Demands

1.) Keyboarding, sitting, walking, standing and reaching. No unusual requirements for

physical strength other than normal office activities.

2.) Must have ability to meet department work schedules and be flexible with hours if required.
