Full Job Description

Egg farmers have responded to the growing needs of the marketplace by providing a wide range of eggs for Manitobans to choose from. Some eggs are nutritionally enhanced like omega-3 eggs, and others are vitamin enhanced. Egg farmers raise their hens in a variety of different housing systems including conventional and enriched housing, free-run in a barn, and free-range with access to the outdoors (weather permitting).

We are seeking Organizational Development Manager in Newark, NJ

  • Develop, implement and manage training efforts for all employees including skill building, professional development and management
  • Formulate and administer human resource initiatives including 360-degree feedback and employee engagement surveys. Identify and incorporate industry best practices
  • Leverage established OD models to assess and understand departmental and organizational needs, inform recommendations, measure success and tailor solutions
  • Oversee legal and undergraduate internship program. Develop program onboarding, schedule and training strategies
  • Educate employees on HR issues and practices, as needed
  • Facilitate communication among employees and management. Guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance
  • Address employee relations efforts with a structured, productive approach
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Business Partner and Senior HR Specialist. Support recruitment, diversity & inclusion and compensation analysis efforts
  • Consult with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field is strongly preferred; PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
  • 10-15 years of Human Resources experience or a combination of Human Resources and Business experience required.
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in a Generalist or organizational development role.
  • 2-3 years in a nonprofit setting
  • Ability to work independently and to research solutions on a broad array of HR disciplines and make sound, thoughtful recommendations on actions and policies.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal skills, and flexibility.
  • Effective influencing skills and demonstrated ability to execute new and existing programs and processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in relationships and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly computer literate, including Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with payroll applications (ADP).
  • A good sense of humor.
