Manufacturing Project Manager

Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc. DTS, is seeking a talented Manufacturing Project Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Manufacturing Project Manager will be required to oversee the production of systems and components for the DoD and major Aerospace/Defense contractors. Duties include directing a project execution team including project planning/scheduling, manufacturing and quality engineering, and supply chain and production managers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the master production schedule
• Facilitate meetings and program reviews at customer facilities
• Leading business development
• Support of proposal efforts
• Customer relations
• Ability to support domestic travel

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s of Science in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.

Candidate must have at least (5) five years of experience as a manufacturing project manager for the aerospace/defense industry.

Candidate must demonstrated experience leading cross functional program execution teams and developing new business opportunities.

Candidate must demonstrated experience successfully meeting cost and schedule requirements for multi-million dollar manufacturing programs.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with:

• Managing programs building flight hardware
• Managing programs building missile ground support equipment
