Description

As the Manager Operational Reporting you will function as a key partner to the FP&A and Accounting teams. You will perform periodic operational and financial reporting and analysis. This role is critical to the transformation Deluxe is undergoing and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic company on its journey to a Trusted, Tech-enables Solutions Company. This will be a highly visible role reporting into the Corporate Controller and partners with all areas of the company.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the reporting team. Perform financial close process, P&L and B/S variance analyses for Deluxe.
  • Collaborate with accounting finance segment managers to support overall department/segment goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal control procedures and compliance, including SOX control ownership
  • Monitor and analyze department work to increase team efficiency while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Proactively manage career development of direct reports.
  • Supervise team to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Assist with financial statement audit activities, including liaison with external auditors and segments/reporting units regarding external audit activities.


Required:

Education: Bachelors (or equivalent experience) in accounting

Experience: 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Auditing, and Analysis with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation

  • Strong relationship building skills and capability to build a support network
  • Understanding of cost structures, expense reporting, and capitalization
  • Efficient modeling capabilities and advanced knowledge of Excel with strong attention to detail


Preferred:

  • MBA/ CPA preferred
