RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all deployment related activities for all intermittent employees (IE), some independent contractors (IC), and all full time employees (FTE) deploying directly and indirectly in support of government worldwide.
- Oversees staff assigned to day-to-day onboarding and deployment operations of the WPS ROSS
- Manages a distributed workforce to meet government and commercial needs
- Complies with regulatory hiring, employment, health, and safety criteria
- Provides direct support to the WPS program
- Responsible for management and effectiveness of the WPS onboarding and deployment process
- Defines and generates pipeline reports to monitor department deliverables to the program. Generates data and reporting as needed to monitor process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Defines and generates team performance metrics and tracking
- Selects, evaluates, and trains all WPS administrative and deployments staff
- Liaises with WPS stakeholders and decision makers on all deployment issues, including travel, scheduling, student issues, and other issues as required
- Responds to short notice program uplifts or new contracts
- Responsible for employee career progression mentoring and development
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Government contracting experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Five years of management experience required.
- Experience working U.S. Government contracts preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
