Our HR Team is growing, and we want YOU! We are adding a newly created Learning & Development Director to our team. Camping World is searching for a self-driven, passionate Learning and Development Leader to join us in an exciting role driving our Learning and Development strategy. You will lead the next generation of our employees’ growth by building our company-wide e-learning solution and strategy. Working with key leaders and regional trainers, you will expand our existing-learning and development training opportunities for over 14,000 employees of Camping World.


We are looking for:

  • A diligent learning and development ‘guru’ who is looking to take their career to the next stage. Camping World has grown rapidly over the past several years and we have the opportunity to centralize our learning. This will be your chance to own your own “shop”!
  • An individual who will be committed to building a first-class training experience for all areas of the business and manage our e-learning platform (Brainier) and develop e-training classes in partnership with departments, regions and market segments.
  • A conscientious leader who will provide technical leadership in support of overall training and development. This position is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions.
  • Someone who will lead, own, and develop our stand-alone LMS, partner with our vendors and foster growth in the system and, most importantly, in our employees.
  • A proven LMS Administrator who can build courses, training packages and reporting structures and is technically savvy with all things LMS.
  • Someone who is a strong communicator who will reach out to all areas of the business, and all levels of leadership. This person will also be the go-to person for all things related to e-training.

What you’ve done so far:

  • Achieved a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or have equivalent work experience
  • Have at least 5 years of direct experience in e-Learning and at least 3 years of managing an enterprise LMS
  • Developed excellent attention to detail skills, strong collaborative skills and of course great communication skills
  • Experience of building reporting and measuring dashboards
  • Been the day to day LMS administrator, but also been very hands on and a knowledge expert with the capabilities of the LMS relative to our customer needs
  • Created proprietary training in partnership both with & without trainers, SMEs, using professional and state of the art authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline.
  • Gained advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Developed strong technical skills, in addition to your LMS experience, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint.
