Job Description

Proactively researches, analyzes and assesses market intelligence, incorporating industry trends and best practices, while simultaneously partnering with the Executive and HR leadership team to define, develop, communicate and execute the total rewards strategy. Specific responsibilities include:

Compensation

Lead the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) with accountability for the overall compensation function including base, short-term and long-term incentive compensation, semi-annual compensation review cycle, equity administration, market data survey participation and job evaluation framework and grading

Develop and implement standard enterprise compensation programs, practices, processes, and systems; including company-wide philosophy and guiding principles to create, improve and maintain integrity of compensation structures and decisions that drive pay equity

Work with external consultant to the Compensation Committee on the design and implementation of Board of Director and executive compensation programs. Lead activity and planning of the Compensation Committee content and meetings

Prepare all Board of Director Compensation Committee meeting materials, proxy and other compensation related filings, manage recordkeeping and other compliance related activities

Manage the Long Term Incentive program including modeling, recommendations to leaders, disbursement and collection of final recommendations, obtaining approval from executives, communicating to employees; effectively partners with our third party equity vendor for seamless administration

Manage the annual merit planning process and communications, and ensure our technology is optimized to support an easy and smooth process for the business and enabling effective communications

Demonstrate thought leadership and expert counsel through ongoing well as expert counsel to HR and Business leadership on compensation issues related to company pay structures and decisions, inclusive of all legal regulations, to drive alignment with company strategy and best in class practices

Responsible for ensuring compensation plans comply with country, state, and local laws and regulations and position. Partner with finance and legal organizations on SEC filing related matters

Lead the overall benefits strategy incorporating a data-driven approach to recommendations and implementation of changes and improvements to our programs to maintain competitive advantage and meet needs of our associates and drive a wellness culture

Partner with vendors to manage the medical, dental, life, long-term and short-term disability insurance plans, flexible spending accounts and 401(k) plan

Partner closely with and actively manage benefit plan, vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration; manage RFP process when determining need for new and/or improved partners and vendors

Evolve the benefits portfolio to maximize utility for all levels and segments of associates; includes evaluating opportunities to push the envelope for more progressive retirement, education, health and related benefit programs and perks

Establish and execute a wellness strategy steeped in employee education and accountability while maintaining and/or improving cost structures

Teaming & Partnerships

Hire, develop, coach, and manage a team of total rewards professionals

Prepare educational materials to assist managers and Human Resource business partners in understanding and supporting compensation and benefits programs and processes

Build collaborative relationships and provide consultative advice to managers and HR business partners on our total rewards strategy, policy and guideline interpretation and specific reward and retention strategies

Build and maintain a healthy partnership with leaders in legal, compliance and regulatory teams

Work with FP&A teams to accurately forecast spends for anything compensation and benefits related

Respond and/or coordinate responses to audit requests for the compensation and benefits areas

Supports potential M & A activities as they relate to benefits and compensation including harmonization and integration
