B&H Worldwide in Los Angeles are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager who will own and manage the integrity and timely provision of finance information to the US business and Group HQ in the UK. As a key member of the B&H team this role will drive a full range of activities including month end, annual budgeting, operational and business analysis, year-end audit, and ad hoc projects defined by the business.
Main Role Accountabilities
Statutory Reporting
- Review statutory accounts for US entity. Oversee audit preparation, visit and successful closure.
Management Accounting
- Create monthly accounts to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare management report pack for the US senior management team.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Taxation and Regulation
- Review Corporation tax computations.
- Produce and submit local Tax returns.
Treasury Management
- Keep the cash flow forecast up to date as and when new information presents itself.
- Produce a cash flow forecast on a weekly basis and present it to local management.
Controls and Procedures
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure that all prices are accurately recorded and detailed uniformly to ensure that appropriate margins are being maintained and to ensure sales analysis can be compared like for like.
People Management
- Lead and inspire the staff within the team, acting as a role model, mentor and coach.
- Set clear objectives, directly linked to the business strategy, and guide the team to achieve defined targets and performance standards.

Qualifications and Experience.
- CPA, Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Good understanding of accounting practices & terminology required
- Good working knowledge of Finance systems
- Intermediate IT skills
