As a Facilities Senior Project Manager, you have strong leadership skills as well as a great eye for detail. You are heavily skilled both out in the field and working with clients. Leading your team by example is second nature to you – through excellent assessments, studies and reports. You have a passion for all things facilities – forensic investigations, non-destructive testing, condition assessments, and the design of repairs. You are extremely hard working and strive to ensure that your team delivers the best quality. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team – and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

  • Providing assessment and investigative services for the built environment
  • Building envelope consulting including design peer review, performance verification, quality assurance, assessment of existing assemblies, and forensic investigations
  • Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx)
  • Forensic investigations, property conditions assessments, roofing, non-destructive testing, and waterproofing
  • Surveys, testing, analysis and design of repairs to existing building elements and systems
  • Preparing technical reports and proposals
  • Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services
  • Managing budget proposals and invoices
  • Managing and mentoring project managers and technicians

What We’re Looking For

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
  • 6-10 years of building envelope consulting or related experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire
  • Technical experience in building enclosure consulting and/or working with a consulting firm required
