SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Orthopedics is responsible for the strategic leadership, successful operations, and quality of Orthopedic services at Grady Health System. The Executive Director will collaborate with senior leadership, including the SVP/Chief Strategy Officer, to develop strategic and tactical plans for the service line, including service line growth and new service department. The ED collaborates with the administrative staff and clinical staff to ensure the highest level of care for patients and ensures that all services provided meet regulatory requirements and guidelines. The ED works with Physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives, optimize operational efficiency, understand the implications of the economic environment and increase physician/hospital alignment. The ED is responsible for budget planning, operational planning and execution as well as capital budget planning and implementation. Position requires working knowledge of current and anticipated scope for the Orthopedic service line.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, or related field. Master Degree Preferred
- Seven(7) years of job related experience in healthcare at the director level with orthopedic experience
