Director of Marketing & Admissions

We are currently seeking a dynamic, creative and innovative Director of Marketing & Admissions! The ideal candidate will have experience in LTC as a marketer or in admissions and will have working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance payer systems. This intermediate and skilled nursing care facility provides skilled care services to the community. • Review admitting new and returning resident operations in a skilled nursing environment
• Develop advertising campaigns, community relationships and direct connection with referral sources
• Foster strategic partnerships with media and other affiliates
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers and social workers, and managers on strategic planning and business development.
• Confirm that all insurance benefits coverage meets standards of admission as dictated by policy.
• Provide facility tours to interested families and organizations as well as greeting new patients and greet families upon arrival and throughout the patients stay.
• Must be available extended hours!
• Work with medical, nursing, social workers and accounting staff to ensure appropriate patient placement.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Required experience:

• LTC Admissions or Marketing, Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance: 1 year

Degree in a related field is desirable

Clinical Background is very helpful

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance payer systems

Established community ties within the Chicagoland healthcare markets
