WIL-MAR NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER DEVELOPMENT / OUTREACH DIRECTOR— We are looking for a Development/Outreach Director (DOD) who is energetic, highly organized, enjoys working with volunteers and thrives in the fast-paced world of organizing special events.
POSITION SUMMARY: The DOD will be responsible for implementing and expanding special events including Fete De Marquette, the Willy Street Fair and AtwoodFest as well as promoting Wil-Mar’s facility use programs and use of rental space.
This is an exciting opportunity for the DOD to work directly with experienced staff and dedicated volunteers and build upon Madison’s favorite summer celebrations of place.
The right candidate is someone who can demonstrate a genuine passion of working with people and has direct experience or desire to work with young people through the planning and implementation of these exciting summer events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking, listening, public relations and promotion. Strong social media skills. Familiarity with online payment platforms. Valid driver’s license. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
