Successful candidates will have background in RF and audio circuit design and experience as a member of a new product design team. Candidate will understand new product development and release to manufacturing processes, including regulatory compliance requirements. Familiarity with wireless microphone system design is a plus.
Candidate will manage the development of complex electronic products including wireless microphone transmitters, receivers and accessory items. Given new product requirements definition, develops project plan including key technology selections, time schedules and milestones. Advises and directs project engineers. Monitors project progress to ensure completion of project, working to resolve any issues and conflicts that arise. Maintains project plan and conducts periodic project reviews with team members. Provides periodic reports on project status to management. Evaluates and implements requirements changes, providing input on the impact of changes to project goals and schedule. Coordinates with Purchasing Dept. to ensure availability of components specified in new products. Coordinates production test development with the Production Test Dept. Coordinates with Compliance Testing group to ensure successful certification of new product. Reports to V.P. of Engineering.
Education: BS degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience.
