Provide support to the Director for Student Inclusion and Diversity. Develops, implements, and/or enhance new or existing signature programs and services that will cultivate the understanding of achieving and succeeding, academically and socially in on a culturally diverse campus and society. Coordinates and supports programming efforts for Black History Month, LGBTQIA/PRIDE Month, American Indian Heritage Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and other activities that promote multicultural sensitivity, awareness and appreciation of diversity. Assists in providing student groups cultural competency and diversity educational education. Design/support outreach initiatives, services, and educational programs that promote retention and success of underrepresented and multicultural students from the vantage point of student life. Assists in representing OSID at on and off campus informational and recruitment events. Develop partnerships with various campus entities to promote recruitment and retention of primarily underrepresented and multicultural students. Develop partnerships with various student-led organizations on the campus to promote recruitment and retention of underrepresented and multicultural students. Stay current on best and common practices related to diversity, inclusion and equity programs. Serve as the secondary WIC for the Student Inclusion and Diversity officeâ??s website. Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.
