Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.
The WIM COO offers process and program management for a variety of initiatives. Primarily, the group oversees and leads integration projects (including acquisitions) and the implementation of WIM strategic initiatives, provides WIM leadership for enterprise and cross-WIM initiatives, manages project governance for WIM projects, and provides leadership for international projects.
The WIM COO Data and Business Solutions Leader is responsible for the overall strategy for WIM data and large cross business applications. This leader should work with WIM leadership, technology, and DMIST on our data and application strategy. In addition, this role will manage a team of data analytics professionals that focus on delivering quality client data to the business that assists leadership with business review and strategy. This team will need to work with division level COO teams to coordinate in technology and data related initiatives.
Additional responsibilities Include:
- Drive the WIM work related to the DMIST (Data management initiative) project. This includes data policy and enterprise requirement adherence.
- Interface with Data Management and Insights teams to determine key data required for data lakes. Ensure all data flowing to key regulatory reports is correct and understood.
- Liaison with technology on the application rationalization program to lower the number of applications in WIM.
- Work to determine which functions can be used across WIM and work with each business leader to understand requirements and create cohesive business needs. An example would be WIM Client Relationship Management platform.
- Manage a large data analytics team that is used to determine our current business mix, how we are doing in the market, and assist with setting strategy.

- Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
- Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading and executing the design and development of innovative solutions and driving recommendations for changes to data systems, infrastructure, or processes
- 10+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design

- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Other Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years financial services experience with data and application technology
- Prior experience with client analytic platforms that are used by the business to review activity and drive decisions related to area’s the business should focus
- Prior experience with large functional platforms with implementation across a complex organization, an example is a CRM tool
- 5+ years and Deep knowledge of data management activities
- Excellent communication skills with senior management
- Ability to be nimble with leadership requests on short time frames
Job Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
