Our Wells Fargo Auto team supports one of the nation’s leading auto lenders. The team offers integrated financial services and solutions designed primarily for the auto dealer community, providing financing and related services to both dealers and consumers nationwide.

This Project Manager 2 role will coordinate and work directly with line of business and support team partners within Wells Fargo Auto and Enterprise teams to ensure all aspects of the project are involved to deliver a quality end product to our customers. He or she will be accountable to coordinate line of business deliverables that seamlessly aligns to scrum team technology release implementations.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and completion of releases on time, within budget and within scope
  • Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of the project
  • Collaborate with the scrum team and leaders to determine and execute optimal release implementations
  • Lead operational teams through times of ambiguity and obstacle management
  • Regularly and appropriately inform, consult with and influence with other project managers, product owners , sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure valuable outcomes are successfully delivered
  • Gain a full understanding of project goals and impacts and be able to communicate this project vision to the project team
  • Manage up to 3 scrum teams concurrently
  • Ensure project methodology is followed and projects are ready for quality adherence reviews, while also ensuring the adherence doesn’t constrain progress

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
  • Ability to track project financials
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of auto finance industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills


Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in identifying risks and dependencies in projects and crafting mitigation strategies
  • Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive environment where team members are respected and heard
  • Ability to develop Project Task plans and track critical path effectively using MS Project
  • Proven ability to communicate in both written and verbal forms with senior and leadership
