Due to the success and continuous expansion of our US Operations, TZ is seeking a Vice President of Implementation, to be in the Chicago area (Des Plaines, IL) office. Reporting directly to the General Manager USA, the Vice President of Implementation will lead, manage and deliver the Technical Services and Implementation function for TZ in the US.
The successful candidate will be a tactical and strategic individual, with a solid track record of managing multifaceted implementations including technologies such as IOT, incorporating networking, electronic and mechanical components.
You will enjoy working in a hands-on role, where your role will include growing the Implementation team over time to match the growth in the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES SUPPORT
- Providing technical expertise and assistance to customers
- Representing the Company with customers and distribution partners
TECHNICAL SERVICES
- Delivering a capability to support the on-site installation, commissioning and on-going service and maintenance of products
- Ensuring systems and processes are in place for practical project completion including compliance testing, acceptance and handover
- Ensuring systems and processes are in place for on-going technical support, break-fix services and preventative
- Managing teams of internal resources and/or external contractors to support on-going technical support and maintenance services
- Driving the continual development and enhancement of field service procedures to ensure that identified process gaps or challenges are resolved
- Implementing service standards and KPIs including a monthly dashboard and such other reports as requested in a timely manner
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Assisting in new product development projects and providing market feedback together with recommending design and engineering initiatives to support customer-oriented product offerings
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering/Technology related field or equivalent
- 5 + years’ experience managing and coordinating teams of internal staff and/or external contractors in complex systems implementation
- 4 + years’ servicing Windows based software (.Net and SQL) and electronic hardware related projects
- 4 + years’ delivering Technical Services supporting on-site installation and commissioning of electronic hardware and MS Windows .Net software products
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Willingness to travel when needed.
