Vice President for Enrollment Management

Bucknell University seeks a strategic, articulate, and values-driven leader to serve as its next Vice President for Enrollment Management. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to capitalize on Bucknell’s unique nature as a 3,600-student national university where the liberal arts and professional programs complement one another. Bucknell offers prospective students the choice of three colleges at the point of application: College of Arts & Sciences, College of Engineering, and the Kenneth E. Freeman College of Management. As the chief architect of enrollment strategy at a complex institution, the Vice President will be responsible for ensuring that the University optimizes and harmonizes its recruiting efforts and financial aid budget in order to continue enrolling and retaining excellent, aspirational. and diverse classes across all three of Bucknell’s colleges.

The new Vice President will be pleased to learn that in recent years Bucknell has accomplished many major milestones relevant to their work: finalizing its new strategic plan, adopting the “By Way of Bucknell” branding platform, undertaking a top-to-bottom website redesign, and completing extensive market research re its prospective students. The stage is set for a new and ambitious era, as Bucknell contemplates its next campaign, prepares to implement its ambitious plans, and aspires to become even more visible nationally and globally for its unique and significant impact on the world.

Reporting directly to President John Bravman, the Vice President for Enrollment Management will be a confident and strategic leader with a demonstrated track record of success. A personal and professional commitment to undergraduate education in a residential setting; to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and to intellectual achievement is essential. The Vice President will have or be genuinely eager to develop a nuanced understanding of the distinctive values and priorities of each of the University’s three colleges.
