What you’ll be doing…

Your focus will be the launch and lifecycle management of new products, providing input on manufacturing, planning, operation, logistics, cost and quality. You will be the chief liaison between Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Field Operations, Sourcing, Logistics, Distribution and our suppliers of these new and exciting products. Through working with suppliers on all deliverables including bill of material (BOM) risk & cost analysis, prototype and pre-production build planning, material-procurement readiness, manufacturing quality and test plans, you will help bring our products to market faster and enhance our service levels for an even better customer service.

  • Delivering new products to our customers’ on-time, within budget, and with exceptional quality and reliability.
  • Participating in early-stage product development meetings to ensure our requirements are accurately captured.
  • Working with key strategic manufacturing partners to ensure production capability is developed on schedule and within budget. Ensuring ramp to full-scale production with excellent outbound quality metrics.
  • Partnering with Manufacturer and Development teams to achieve desired result on design for cost, quality and reverse logistics.
  • Rigorously maintaining key program issues, clearly articulating impacts, next steps and owners.
  • Conducting project retrospectives and compiling lessons learned and integrate into processes and templates.
  • Analyzing and interpreting ECO impact on Supply Chain schedule, costs and quality.
  • Using customer data to influence development schedule and features on new products.
  • Facilitating meetings, building positive relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and management, and developing new product introduction process documentation and metrics.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Product Development best practices.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in engineering or supply chain management.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Supply Chain or Project Management professional certification.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Sourcing experience.
  • Commodity management experience.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience with SAP & Agile PLM.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Product Development best practices; understanding common needs and challenges of the business.
