Minimum Requirements: Work requires completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Care Management, Project Management or Information Management.
Minimum of seven (7) years progressive experience in project management or combination of project managemetn and industry experience where project management is documented as a key job responsibility. Minimum of three (3) years of direct large, complex project management experience i.e. projects that required greater than 1000 hours work effort and multiple resources. Portfolio of proven project successes that includes for each project; a Microsoft Project Plan, Issues Tracking documentation, Activation checklist and executive level evaluations required at interview.
Work requires knowledge of healthcare work processes for all healthcare departments and divisions. Candidate must be able to act in the capacity of a functional, business or information consultant to senior executive managers. Candidate should be able to serve as a surrogate for senior executive managers at meetings in regards to information gathering and communication. Work requires interpersonal skills and leadership to manage large, complex projects working effectively with internal and external executive personnel to accomplish organizational goals. Position requires the highest degree of expertise in complex project management. Candidate must have proven success in preparing budget, requirements, scope and level of effort for complex, strategic organizational projects. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to propose, provide instruction about and present plans to team, department and executive level management. Candidate must work independently; communicating regularly and directly with executive project sponsors concerning project progress, costs, staffing and scheduling. Work requires excellent analytical skills to assess organizational, strategic business problems and help the organization?s senior level executives to move toward a desired future state. Position requires proven ability to provide direction and oversight to other project managers in the execution of their projects. Candidate must be able to assess team members? strengths and recommend development opportunities for them. Candidate must be able to visit multiple business and education locations.
