He or she is responsible for formulating and enforcing performance work standards; assigning work schedules; reviewing and correcting work discrepancies; supervising contractor personnel; and communicating policies, purposes, and objective of this order to the Contractor’s assigned staff. The Project Manager is responsible for monitoring the contractor’s technical progress, including the surveillance and assessment of performance and recommending to the Contracting Officer changes in requirements; performing technical evaluations as required; assisting in the resolution of technical problems encountered during performance, managing the overall program; ensuring timely implementation of the technical solutions and schedules on the program and performing enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interfacing with other functional systems.
In-depth experience and knowledge of processes such as fiscal year-end closeout is mandatory to ensure the government is not put at any unnecessary risk during a time sensitive period that requires extreme accuracy.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

- Experience with Oracle Federal Financials
- Experience in technical leadership.
- Ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements.
- Ability to understand and simplify customer requirements.
- Ability to communicate end user feedback to technical and design leads.
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven knowledge of industry standards.
- Proven knowledge of managing Agile Software Development efforts.
- Experience in management of a federal financial environment
- Certified PMP.
