Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the Agile Team as the Scrum Master.
- Facilitate getting the work done by removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
- Assist the team in preparation for Agile Release Train (ART) activities, including Product Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt.
- Guide the team in establishing estimates and help the team understand how to estimate features and capabilities.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
- Develop all user stories and write user acceptance criteria to be used against completing stories as done.
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile Team on all user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product based on input from key stakeholders.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum and SAFe (Scaled Agile for the Enterprise) best practices and new trends.
Required Skills:
- Experience as a scrum master/product owner/manager working in an agile team that was diligently applying agile principles, practices, and theory.
- Knowledge of SAFE (Scaled Agile for the Enterprise) methodology is desirable.
- Able to work in a global environment including the ability to maintain global relationships and understand different business models that may vary by region and business unit.
- A good understanding of multi-channel engagement/marketing from a business perspective using data to drive the customer journey.
- Able to map business requirements to technical and functional requirements.
- Able to write detailed Epics, User Stories and User Acceptance Criteria to drive development and market adoption and understanding of feature/capability.
Education:
Master’s/MBA degree.
Experience: Minimum 15 years.
General knowledgeable about core digital technologies such as email, campaign management, web, analytics, and/or databases.
