POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for identifying, creating, and supporting LRES products by working with Sales for customer needs, Operations for product features and support, and IT for meaningful achievements within various time and budget constraints. The position reports to Technology, but has a cross-functional responsibilities with Sales, Operations and Finance, and oversees the work of the IT Project Manager. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: project management, user interface, business analysis, and internal customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Function as a liaison between software engineers and operations business users
  • Create a positive work environment valuing associates, promoting teamwork, hiring, training, and evaluating performance
  • Spearhead the discovery, analysis, and overall management of all project requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and shape final project deliverables
  • Facilitate project information and work flows between technical and non-technical units
  • Monitor project milestones and report on progress to stakeholders and management
  • Apply business analysis tools and techniques to enable project success
  • Scope timeline and development effort of projects
  • Ensure release date targets are met
  • Have a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Help develop product pricing and rollout timeline
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes to be implemented by IT with documented specifications from Sales, Operations, and Finance
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Monitor project milestones and report on progress to stakeholders and management
  • Apply business analysis tools and techniques to enable project success
  • Scope timeline and development effort of projects
  • Ensure release date targets are met
  • Have a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Identify best-practice processes and technology-related emerging trends and incorporate these into making the IT organization more efficient, responsive, produce high quality and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Help develop product pricing and rollout timeline
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes to be implemented by IT with documented specifications from Sales, Operations, and Finance
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Create and execute migration away from one platform to another

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with customers in a coordinating role
  • Experience working as a liaison between technological and operations departments
  • Solid technical competence
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams and develop action plans with team members having disparate viewpoints
  • Proven ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills
  • High degree of integrity, passion and drive
  • Excellent organizational, planning, scheduling, communication and writing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in the mortgage or financial industry
  • CSM and/or CSPO
  • PMI-ACP
  • PMP
