Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of mental health projects and initiatives related to the $150 million commitment from the Huntsman Family donation.


Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), 2+ years of project management experience, and a bachelor’s degree are required.

The incumbent works closely with executive leadership to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule; our Project Manager also coordinates internal resources and vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

The institute is expected to become a nationally-recognized leader in research, care, education and community outreach—and a model for other states to follow.

Responsibilities

  • Develops project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility.
  • Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Determines the resources required to complete the project
  • Develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities required.
  • Determines objectives and measures to evaluate the project at its completion.
  • Executes the project according to the project plan.
  • Monitors the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensures the project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality expectations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Ability to prepare written and verbal communications for projects.
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or equivalency.
  • Two years of applicable experience.
