POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of the projects to which he/she is assigned. The successful PM will identify and secure internal and external resources, interact with the client, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product as defined by clients and regulatory agencies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Ensures adherence to all safety practices and procedures while performing or supervising the performance of tasks in all work areas.
  • Coordinates and supervises assigned project staff and subcontracted workers.
  • Generates quality of work product in accordance with company quality control protocols.
  • Prepares written reports and other documents necessary for the completion of specific projects.
  • Cultivates and maintains the necessary contacts with clients and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Trains and mentors lower-level staff.
  • Prepares and/or supervises the creation of proposals for future work.
  • Tracks schedules and budgets and generate profitable.
  • Performs risk analysis, resource and reserve calculation using deterministic and probabilistic methods.
  • Investigates and analyzes exploration prospects and development opportunities using cross-sections, structural/stratigraphic framework analyses, geochemical, seal and pressure data.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to review and edit reports and proposals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • At least five years’ experience in O & M work
  • Ability to delegate work and handle multiple projects as well as multiple delegated projects.
  • Firm understanding of the regulatory processes driving O & M Service work.
  • Ability to control and manage budgets and schedules.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal O & M Services contracts and experience in executing contracts for NAVFAC, USAF, USACE and other Federal Agency is required.
  • Ability to effectively work with a team to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to make own decisions and take responsibility for the outcomes.
  • Willingness to embrace personal and professional development.
  • Familiar with variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.

EDUCATION:

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • A Master’s degree is preferred with a minimum of 5 years of Construction Management or Business Management
  • Must be knowledgeable in completing established project milestones.
