The Project Manager/Coordinator will be responsible for leading large application development projects

and managing projects toward successful delivery. Responsibilities will include working with internal client

stakeholders to gather and analyze product and technical requirements and coordinating internal team

efforts to ensure delivery of high-quality applications and releases. The Project Manager is responsible for

overseeing the full lifecycle of a project, from project definition and scope development through successful

delivery on time and on budget.

Job Description

• Manage application design and development projects from project definition through successful

delivery

• Translate requirements into technical, functional and non-functional specifications
• Act as the point of contact for all project-related questions
• Develop project plans and work breakdowns; manage project milestones and task breakdowns

with internal teams

• Serve as the bridge between internal teams (design, development, quality, delivery)
• Mitigate project risks and roadblocks, including scope creep, quality concerns, etc. by

communicating clearly with client stakeholders and internal teams and escalating appropriately

• Collaborate with and guide designers, developers, QA testers and other stakeholders to deliver

quality products on time and on budget

• Assist with and/or guide development of business analysis best practices and standard

documentation templates.

Requirements:
Qualifications

• Experience effectively managing large, technical application development projects
• Aptitude for strategic thinking and ability to make critical recommendations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to clearly

articulate complex business and technical requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong organization and prioritization skills
• Experience working on and managing multiple project work streams concurrently
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and experience working in Agile

development environments

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office; experience with project management and bugtracking

tools (e.g. JIRA, GIT)

• Working knowledge of software and hardware technologies used in application development

Major Plus (Not Required)

• Agile Scrum Master training and certification (CSM)
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)
• Familiarity with open source technologies

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of related BA/PM experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous work in an application development environment and a strong understanding of Agile

methodologies are required
