The Project Manager will work with the All of Us Research Program Team at the Scripps Research Translational Institute (SRTI) and The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI). RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Creates and maintains project plans, monitoring and adapting as necessary
- Manages resource progress to make sure schedule is on track
- Facilitates communication between team members and other stakeholders
- Captures and distributes takeaways from meetings and other significant conversations
- Identifies and resolves project issues and risks
- Reports on project progress and offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
This position works in an office and lab environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
- Bachelors degree in Health Science or equivalent applicable experience in healthcare and health research.
- Masterâs degree in Health Sciences, Social Science, Economics or Business preferred.
- 3+ years of experience running large projects.
- Experience in running scientific projects and/or large-scale collaborations.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, including strategic thinking and planning skills.
- Project Management expertise, PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with and present to senior level stakeholders.
- Experience with application of market research and data analysis.
- Ability to perform quantitative and statistical analysis of basic results.
- Experience in healthcare and/or healthcare research institute preferred.
- Experience with conducting literature searches and writing manuscripts.
- Demonstrated ability to produce polished deliverables that present data visually and tell a clear, compelling story.
- Ability to prioritize and work well in an ambiguous environment with competing demands.
- Experience working on federally-funded NIH grants preferred.
