As a project manager for Fraser Engineering you will be part of a team that is redefining the way Mechanical Contractors operate. JOB SCOPE:

• Lead project team to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with construction projects following the company’s standard operators procedures
• Assist and expedite buyouts and materials to complete projects
• Interpret and explain plans, contract terms/scope to project team
• Represent company in project meetings and lead strategy meetings (progress, start up, close outs)
• Work with financial team to manage contracts, changes and track budgets and forecasting
• Responsible for Prefabrication culture; identifying and coordinating all prefab opportunities
• Responsible for safety culture on the project and taking corrective measures when necessary

Education/Experience: B.A or B.S Degree preferred in relevant field of study preferred. (Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent years of industry experience and/or 3-5 years/experience in mechanical project management

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Computer Skills: Knowledge and experience with Project Management/Accounting Software systems is required. Specific experience w/Autodesk Software is a plus. Above average skills in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) and computer trends/technology.

Other Requirements:

• Proficient in utilizing all internal programs, forms and processes
• Proficient in database maintenance, report generation
• Proficient in knowledge and skills in utilizing complex spreadsheet tools for budgets and schedules.
• Experience in a variety of HVAC /Plumbing/Mechanical system designs.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical plans P&ID’s and working knowledge of a variety of HVAC / Plumbing/Mechanical systems in commercial and industrial projects.
