The Mission Control Center at Jamf creates, manages, and maintains all systems and data visibility used during the lifecycle of a customer. This includes the team of data professionals that create, maintain, and deliver visibility and reports from the primary data at Jamf. The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for the development and maintenance of an Intelligence team, creating a team that continually provides value by providing key insights to support decision making at Jamf. This includes onboarding, training, resource management, and development of staff.
This role aims to drive, sustain and grow operations surrounding the systems, tools, and processes used for gathering, storing, and accessing data. The Manager of Business Intelligence must maintain a strong relationship with other teams and individual leaders in the Mission Control Center to ensure our systems can support the data needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team activities related to onboarding, training, professional development, and career direction
- Support in creating a data driven decision making culture at Jamf
- Onboard and grow new team members Identify and build key leaders within the team
- Manage and maintain team performance toward business goals and outcomes
- Serve as an escalation point for engagement issues, taking ownership of a solution when needed
- Own the mission, direction, and strategic importance of the team
- Establish and measure effectiveness of staff by defining operational metrics, creating metric tracking, and providing reports to leadership
- Lead the choice and implementation of tools and resources that support the Business Intelligence team mission
- Effectively prioritize and execute on needed BI team projects
- Proactively execute on workflow changes that help the team deliver on time, in budget, and of quality
- Enhance effectiveness and efficiency through technology and processes
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to drive internal efficiently, customer satisfaction, and retention
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- Regularly communicate the status of efforts within the team
Requirements:
- 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Shown leadership skills, both positional leadership and influential leadership (Required)
- 2+ years experience as a business intelligence professional (Required)
- Experience building a defining, implementing, and leveraging a data warehouse
- Experience in data modeling tools (SQL Server Database Modeler,)
- 2+ Years experience in Jamf product line and associated technologies (Preferred)
- 2+ Years Proven record of leading a team focused on customer satisfaction (Preferred)
