Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and work with others on the project to ensure timely delivery
- Manage project scheduling and budgeting global team resources
- Direct, monitor and manage infrastructure based projects from its initial phases through its implementation
- Regular reporting in steering meetings, including top management from IT and Business
- Working on global topics with a variety of teams to transform IT to the new generation
Other tasks performed by the infrastructure project manager include creating comprehensive road maps defining activities and deliverables, as well as participating in budgeting and ordering infrastructure equipment and supplies as necessary. One of this manager’s main tools includes a personal computer to keep accurate records and create detailed reports based on their observations. In addition, infrastructure project managers track progress of development and implementation efforts. They ensure procedural documentation and effective controls exist, as well as manage the implementation and production of new infrastructure.
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong background in management including P/L and functional/disciplinary leadership.
- Proven track records with successfully enrolled IT projects
- Fluent with business acumen and good relationship management with Business
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Willingness to travel (20%)
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required for this position.
- Managerial experience is a must. Industry and leadership certifications may be beneficial as well.
- Infrastructure project managers must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, work well in a team environment, and be able to perform effectively on their own with minimal supervision. These individuals must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills while paying attention to detail. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, as well as multitask on a variety of projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge on regulations for data center/IT Security/HIPAA compliance, GxP
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
