As we are scaling internationally, we need to add more talented people to the team to make sure we have the infrastructure in place to keep up with our growth. We are looking for someone who can take on the key position as Head of US Supply Chain Manager.
What you’ll do
- Establish contact to suppliers to obtain offers for products and services to cover and support all segments of the supply chain
- Develop and manage system for forecasting and in- and outbound logistics
- Build and manage procurement and logistics team
- Farm to table strategy responsible
- Understanding the business of the individual supplier and working with them to develop and strengthen our products and solutions
- Meeting or exceeding procurement budget and gross margin targets
- Developing and reporting forecasted procurement and logistic spend to support budget on a weekly basis
- Building excellent relations with suppliers by frequent contacts and face-to-face meetings
- Participating in conferences, fairs and business related workshops
Who you are
- +5 years of professional experience preferably from FMCG, retail chains
- Strong supplier network within the food industry
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements
- Ability to build and manage local team
- Ability to develop and operate system for forecasting and procurement
