Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelorâs degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in Wealth Advisory/Management, Financial Analysis, or related role.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: working in Excel including VBA coding; financial and estate planning project management; using VBA coding skills to develop analytics such as creating and enhancing an education savings calculator to identify savings vehicles for clientâs situation, as well as amounts necessary to fund those vehicles in order to meet future education costs; migrating calculators to technology platforms such as converting education savings calculator from an Excel-based tool to a non-Excel application housed on a secure, internal technology platform; bespoke client projects including leveraging finance and estate planning with Excel to perform customized analytics and presenting findings to clients; managing educational projects by performing analytical research on planning strategies such as Roth IRA conversion for client publications; and training advisors on financial and estate planning concepts such as income tax minimization strategies or strategies to pass wealth on to children, as well as leveraging analytics to address client needs. This position requires one (1) year of experience with advising clients and client advisors on financial and estate planning concepts and rules such as income tax minimization strategies or strategies to pass wealth on to children.
