CloserIQ is a global talent strategy firm helping companies build high performing sales organizations. We’re looking for an exceptional operational leader to help the business scale efficiently.
We’ve grown 3x in the past two years in revenue and headcount and now getting ready to scale globally. We got to this point via a culture of thoughtful design choices and operational excellence but now need someone to take us to the next level as we grow from single office/product to multi offices/products.
What makes us different is that we’ve grown this fast without any outside capital. Thus, the challenge of running Finance, HR, and Operations requires extreme resourcefulness, prudent decision making, and creativity. We’re looking for a humble leader who practices thoughtful candor, unwavering integrity, commercial diplomacy and a high bar for operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has spent enough time at both large companies and startups to know they prefer a smaller company. We need someone who can hit the ground running with a heavy focus on execution while holding a clear vision of what needs to happen for us to become a 500 employee company. While we prefer candidates with previous experience running HR, it is certainly not a requirement as long as they are excited by this responsibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership and/or management experience with a proven track record of driving performance in individual functions and leading cross-department initiatives.
- We’re open to the background of a proven HR/People leader or Finance/Operations leader but we’d like to see early career experience in management consulting, investment banking, or any enterprise that has a reputation of providing foundational training on top-down problem solving and analysis.
- Longevity in prior roles and a track record of increasing scope of responsibility.
- Has lead business planning processes and just as comfortable building complex Excel spreadsheets as presenting at a board meeting.
- Prior experience working with legal and handling complex regulatory and compliance issues across HR, Operations, and Product.
