The Head of Growth Technologies will oversee the development and implementation of integrated sales plans to achieve aggressive growth objectives for the sales team. This position requires a highly-energetic, enterprise B2B sales leader with experience in closing new business. Our ideal Head of Growth Technologies will play a pivotal role in guiding Check Point toward achieving our objectives and will be fully engaged with the rest of the leadership team.
What you’ll do:
- The Head of Growth Technologies is directly responsible for Check Point growth products revenue
- Define and implement a sales strategy to aggressively increase the revenue in key segments and overall
- Attract, develop and build the sales team and sales organization to achieve long-term success and exceed growth requirements
- Determine the matrix of skills necessary to meet goals and increase existing skill sets. Manage, direct, steer and motivate the sales organization and company to exceed sales targets
- Locate opportunities to expand client base; network with prospective clients and work proactively to foster strong relationships with client base
- Work with existing channel partners, identifying new channel relationships and proactively working with the checkpoint channel team and partners leadership team to drive growth
- Formulating, executing and reviewing strategic plans with strategic channel partners. Building and leading a team of channel managers to drive revenue growth and strategic outcomes
- Maximizing sales through existing channel relationships and developing programs for growing/nurturing channel and strategic partners
- Strive to continuously improve the effectiveness and productivity of the sales team
- Define and oversee incentive programs that motivate sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Exceed client expectations and contribute to a high level of client satisfaction
- Effectively manage pipeline and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting; define, analyze and interpret key sales metrics; track, manage and maximize the sales team effectiveness
- Work closely with marketing to establish successful sales and marketing campaigns
- Manage key client relationships and actively participate in developing and closing strategic opportunities
- Promote checkpoint as a thought leader through actions, activities and success
- Other duties as assigned to help the company team achieve its objectives
Desired Background
What you bring to the table:
- Client advocate and experienced sales executive with a minimum of 7 years of relevant executive level sales leadership experience, ideally for a leading managed service provider, cloud services or SaaS provider. Microsoft leadership and sales experience highly desirable
- Technical sales expertise and strong familiarity with Cloud and technical concepts required. Fundamental understanding of consultative sales processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and develop an excellent organization capable of taking on greater and greater responsibility, collectively and individually. Will make changes smartly and quickly when needed
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading high performance teams with ability to proactively engage with marketing, product management and operations teams and work strategically and collaboratively across the organization to establish clear priorities for new and existing client sales
- Strong and proven cloud sales, market and product knowledge, coupled with excellent and proven leadership experience
- Proven ability to contact, qualify, develop and close opportunities
- Ability to carry a quota as well as lead the team to overachieve month over month
- Experience in executing multiple distribution strategies, i.e., direct distribution plus channel
- Experience developing, maintaining and optimizing end-to-end sales processes
- Strategic, systematic, persistent and efficient when managing both time, team and accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication and sales skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
- Team motivator with strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude

- Bachelorâs degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of sales and business concepts and the ability to strategically link the two and tactically implement sales activities that will crush goals
