We are a high-end tattoo studio looking for a Front Desk Receptionist/Project Manager to complement our ever-expanding company. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and an affinity for an organization. Our ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented and organized, has a great, even-tempered attitude, can start and follow through on multiple tasks at a time, and is self-motivated with the ability to work with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities include:

– Creating a professional and inviting atmosphere by working with clients to book appointments

– Filing and archiving daily paperwork

– Answering phone calls and responding to emails promptly

– Working with our artists to ensure the needs of the shop are met

– Managing a variety of projects to contribute to the expansion of the company

Beneficial and expected skills for this position:

Writing/Reading Comprehension

  • The ability to clearly and effectively communicate via email (English required, second language welcome)
  • The ability to quickly gather information from clients for consultations with our artists (ie. asking the right questions given the provided details)

Aesthetics

  • The ability to see details and improve them in order to better fit the nature and vision of our brand
  • The ability to create and present work in an aesthetically pleasing way

Organization

  • The ability to follow, maintain and improve detailed systems
  • The ability to thoroughly complete tasks and organize paperwork, data and materials

Problem Solving

  • The ability to see problems before they occur
  • The ability to develop systems to prevent the same or similar problems from recurring in the future

Marketing/ PR

  • The ability to present our brand and products to all customers in a thoughtful way
  • The desire to learn more about our brand to better represent our company to strangers as well as to those who are familiar

  • The ability to interact positively with fellow employees and customers

This is a part-time position with the potential of full-time. A flexible schedule is preferred.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
