Landmark Senior Living is seeking a driven, organized, entrepreneurial and outgoing Executive Director to oversee ongoing operations of Fall River community in Fall River, MA. This historic property has been converted into a 90 unit assisted living facility with that provides Traditional Care. Executive Director is responsible for managing all aspects of running a facility, which includes wellness, activities, marketing, food services, maintenance, and business administration.

Landmark Senior Living is a subsidiary of Simsbury Associates, Inc., a growing company dedicated to winning in the market with the more established Senior Living business as well as the newly emerging Chemical Dependency Recovery division. Executive Director position reports directly to the President of Senior Living with significant support and coaching to develop strategic and operational excellence and achieve operational and financial goals for the Fall River facility. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the operations of the Fall River facility.

Manage ownership of the facility’s P&L, achieving annual financial objectives as well perform strategic budgeting process, including operational and capital projects budgets.

Oversee total staff of 40-50 employees with direct supervision of the Management Team, ensuring high employee morale, performance, and engagement.

Hire and retain high-performing team members; address performance issues appropriately and expediently.

Manage resident population, ensuring achievement of occupancy goals and admission of appropriate residents

Interact with patients and families, ensuring their needs are met.

Collaborate with other facilities to exchange and promote best practices.

Collaborate with corporate Digital Marketing and IT teams to grow online visibility of the facility and maintain a high-quality pipeline of digital leads.

Ensure Compliance with all EOEA regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred

5+ years of experience in Long Term Care is required

3+ years of management experience is required

Excellent written and verbal communications

Ability to build and develop high-performing teams

Ability to manage change

Emotional intelligence to handle sensitive life events of residents and their families

Outstanding attention to detail to ensure tight operations compliant with state regulations and company policies and procedures

Capable of maintaining composure under high-pressure and stressful situations

Pragmatic business thinking to run a multi-million P&L and manage multiple priorities

Must have a valid state driver’s license
